Why Us

Why Leading Brands Choose Space Productions

03

Trusted by Global Icons

Our LED production has powered experiences for Netflix, Universal, Adidas, Hilton, and more. When top brands need show-stopping visuals, they call us.

04

Transparent, Upfront Pricing

No surprise fees. No fine print. Just clear quotes with flexible packages that scale to your event and budget. LED wall rentals typically start at $5,000.

How we work

Quote. Site walk. Build. Show.

A process built so nothing is left to chance between the booking and the strike.

Quote

Tell us the venue, the date, and the scope. We come back fast with a clear, itemized quote — no guesswork, no padding.

Site Walk

We walk the venue or the plans — power, rigging points, sightlines, load-in paths. The spec on paper matches what shows up.

Build

Every wall and rig is tested in our shop before it leaves. We deliver, rig, and program ahead of doors — never against the clock.

Show

A dedicated tech stays on-site for the full run of show — content, redundancy, real-time fixes. We stay through strike.

Content that wraps the room instead of sitting in a frame.

We map projection to real surfaces — facades, scenic, stages, and objects — edge-blended across projector arrays and warped to the geometry so the image looks painted onto the venue. Pair it with custom content and real-time VFX and the building itself becomes the canvas.

Included as standard

  • Delivery, rigging, and clean cable management
  • Redundant processing and power on critical systems
  • An on-site tech for the full run of show
  • A real rehearsal before doors — never against the clock
  • Strike and load-out by the same crew

The canvas, answered

When is projection mapping the right call — and when is LED?

We rent both, so you get the honest version. Projection wins when the canvas is the venue itself — a facade, a curved set, a 3D object, a whole room — and when you control the light or the show runs after dark. A projector pair can cover a building face for a fraction of what that much LED would cost. LED wins for flat rectangles at stage center, bright rooms, and daylight, where per-seat brightness is the whole game. Send a photo of the surface and we’ll call it on the spot.

When mapping is the call, precision is what separates “mapped” from “projected at”: we measure and model the surface, warp content to its exact geometry, and edge-blend high-lumen arrays into one seamless image — brightness tuned to the ambient light you can’t turn off. Content is built to the map, real-time VFX can be cued live, and playback runs on media servers with backup, locked to the surface from first cue to last.

The honest decision

Architecture, shapes, and dark rooms → projection. Flat, bright, daylight → LED. We do both, so the advice is straight.

Modeled, not eyeballed

The surface is measured and modeled first, so content fits the geometry like it was painted on.

A moment, not a loop

Cue-able, music-reactive content run on backed-up media servers — the reveal lands live.

Projection Mapping in Los Angeles — Mapped to the surface
Map

Mapped to the surface

We measure and model the surface, then warp and mask the content to its exact geometry — so the projection reads as part of the architecture, with no spill and no seams where the blends meet.

  • Surface measured & modeled
  • Warped to exact geometry
  • Masked, no spill
Projection Mapping in Los Angeles — Edge-blended arrays
Blend

Edge-blended arrays

Multiple high-lumen projectors stacked and blended into one seamless image big enough for facades and stages — with brightness and uniformity tuned to the ambient light in the room.

  • Multi-projector arrays
  • Seamless edge blends
  • Brightness tuned to the room
Projection Mapping in Los Angeles — Custom content & VFX
Content

Custom content & VFX

Original content built for the surface and real-time VFX that can react to music, cues, or the audience — so the mapping isn’t just a loop, it’s a moment you can call live.

The gear on the truck

What maps the venue.

High-lumen arrays, media servers, and content built to the exact surface so the image reads as part of the architecture.

High-lumen laser projector
20k+ lumens

High-lumen laser projector

Bright, long-life laser projectors stacked and blended to light a facade or a stage, with brightness and uniformity tuned to the ambient light in the room.

Warp & blend server
Pixel-perfect

Warp & blend server

Media servers that warp content to the surface’s exact geometry and blend overlapping projectors into one seamless image — no spill, no visible seams.

Lens kit
Any throw

Lens kit

A range of interchangeable lenses, from ultra-short-throw to long, so the projectors land a full, sharp image from wherever the room lets us rig them.

Content & VFX engine
Real-time

Content & VFX engine

A real-time content engine that drives custom visuals and cue-able VFX, reacting to music, timecode, or input so the map is a moment you can call live.

Projector rigging
Locked-off

Projector rigging

Rigid clamps, frames, and locked-off mounts that hold each projector dead still, because a fraction of drift breaks the illusion the whole map depends on.

Surface scan & mask
Geometry-matched

Surface scan & mask

On-site measurement and 3D modeling of the real surface, turned into precise masks so the projection hugs every edge instead of spilling past it.

Projection or LED?

The honest decision guide.

Sometimes the right answer is an LED wall — and we rent both, so we’ll tell you straight. This is how we call it on the site walk.

What’s the surface?
Pick projection whenIt’s architecture, scenic, or a shape a screen can’t be
Pick LED whenIt’s a flat rectangle at stage center
How bright is the room?
Pick projection whenYou control the lights, or it’s after dark
Pick LED whenThe room stays bright or it’s outdoors in daylight
How big is the canvas?
Pick projection whenA projector pair can cover a building face
Pick LED whenYou need per-seat brightness in a tight footprint

Pricing, explained

What moves the price.

Mapping quotes follow the surface, not just the square footage. These are the drivers.

Lumens & stacking

Brightness is speced to the surface and the light you can’t turn off — doubling projectors doubles more than the picture.

Survey & content prep

We measure and model the surface so content is built to the real geometry — that pre-production is the difference between “mapped” and “projected at.”

Media server & blending

Warping, edge-blending, and playback that holds frame across every projector.

Placement

Throw distance, rigging positions, and keeping projectors out of guests’ sightlines (and weather, outdoors).

Permits

Exterior building mapping can need property or city sign-off — we handle the paperwork early.

Send a photo of the surface and the date — we’ll tell you if it maps well, and quote it itemized either way.

The illusion question

What goes wrong with mapping — and how do we prevent it?

The image washes out

Lumens are speced to the surface and the ambient light you can’t control — measured, not guessed.

Visible seams where projectors overlap

Edge-blended and warped on-site, then checked from where the audience actually stands.

Content doesn’t fit the building

We measure and model the surface first, so the content is built to the geometry — it looks built-in, not bolted on.

A projector dies mid-show

Playback runs on media servers with backup, and arrays are designed so one failure dims the picture instead of ending it.
